Portrait photography is not just simply taking pictures of a child or an adult, a girl or a boy, or a man or a woman, it is making a photograph of a person, not a subject. It is capturing his/her very self. In Addition, Destin Sparks said, "portrait is telling stories which we photographers fail to write in words"; or should I say, stories that cannot be put-into-words but can be captured by the lens or a paint brush.

Last Saturday, May 12, 2018, I tagged along with one of Davao's masters in mobile photography, Ian Carl Panes and his good friend Opet Qu for a fun shoot session and it was really fun doing photo session with these two. Ian, as a mobile photographer, used his Zen and damn, he nailed his shots (am gonna put his link here as soon as he's done uploading his works). On the other hand, I used my Yongnou 50mm + Nikon D3100. Let's see how these two perform under low lights conditions at Davao City's Roxas Night Market!
